The Electoral Commission of Ghana has announced that it is currently recruiting temporary staff to assist in various exercises leading up to the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
The commission is currently accepting applications for the positions listed below to ensure smooth facilitation of the electoral processes.
Interested individuals are required to submit their application letters and CVs to the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission via https://ecjobsghana.com/
Applicants must specify the position they are applying for, as well as their preferred Region, District, and Constituency for work.
Successful applicants will be engaged for all three major activities of the Electoral Commission planned for 2024, including the Voter Registration Exercise, Exhibition of Voters Register, and the General Election.
The deadline for application submission is Monday, 29th April 2024.
Registration Officer, Exhibition Officer, and Presiding Officer positions require a minimum academic qualification of a First Degree.
Registration Assistant, Exhibition Assistant, and Polling Assistant roles demand an HND, Teacher Cert “A”, Diploma, or equivalent educational background.
A strong understanding of elections and the local terrain will be advantageous for applicants.
In addition to academic qualifications, applicants should possess technical and personal competencies, such as quantitative and analytical skills, physical and mental stamina, adaptability under pressure, and relevant work experience.
